Is there a minimum age to attend? Is this a family Friendly event?

You must be 18 years old or older to attend,  Please bring your state-issued ID  with you to verify.  Once you have signed the waiver you will be given a unique wristband to enter the rally, please keep it on your wrist all weekend. you can freely come and go all weekend but please read the section below about driving on the rally grounds.

Can I bring my animal/pet?

While we do not allow pets into the rally, we will make exceptions for registered Service Animals. We do request that you provide proof that the animal is registered as a Service Animal. Failure to provide proof may result in our refusal to allow entry into the rally.  

Where do I park? Is there free parking? 

Vehicle parking next to your tent is allowed for $10.00 per vehicle.  No charge for Motorcycles, Trikes, Can-Ams, etc.




Can I bring my camper?

Yes, there’s plenty of space to set up. There is no additional charge for campers/ RV's on the rally grounds that choose to use a generator, we ask that if you are using a generator you please park in "generator row" so as not to disturb primitive campers.  Campers with a generator will need to be prepared to Boondock - Boondocking in an RV is when you camp without hookups to electricity, water, or sewage.

Are electric sites available to book?

Electric sites are very few and far between,  most are occupied by vendors requiring electric service  and those who are working the rally.  Please contact the Vendor Site Coordinator for more information nightly between 5-8 PM;  Randy- 417-739-4896.  There is no charge to vend at the rally (covered by admission) - come and set up a booth to sell your wares! 

Can I run a generator?

Absolutely! There is a specific area designated for generators so the sound doesn’t bother our primitive campers.


When can I arrive?

The gates for the rally open at noon on Friday. If you want to camp any nights prior to that, you will need to make arrangements with the Hootentown Campground and Canoe Rental by calling (417)369-2266. Anyone still on the campground when the gates open will be charged their entry fee and given a bracelet or asked to leave.

How late can I arrive?

The main gate will close at 10 PM on Friday night and re-open on Saturday morning at 8 am.

Can I book a float during the rally?

YES! This also needs to be arranged with the campground directly if you need to rent something to get you down the river, or need a ride to a drop off point. The campground offers canoes, kayaks and rafts for your floating pleasure. Please pre-book to reserve your equipment Hootentown Campground and Canoe Rental  (417)369-2266

Is there food available on site?

Yes. We typically have 2 or 3 food vendors at the rally, and the little store at the top of the hill sells some food and necessities. You can grill/ cookout just be prepared with all your essentials. There's a Dollar General in Highlandville and several options for groceries/supplies in Nixa.


Where can I buy beer/Spirits?

The campground store has a small variety of beer and liquor. There are no alcohol vendors currently inside the rally grounds.

When do I have to leave?

Most people begin the slow process of packing up Sunday morning. If you want to stay Sunday night, you will have to arrange that with the Hootentown Campground and Canoe Rental  (417)369-2266
